ORGANIZATION: New England Equine Rescue - North, Inc

Do you have experience fundraising and a drive to make a difference? New England Equine Rescue North (NEER North) is looking for a fundraising coordinator to join our team! NEER North is a volunteer run organization that receives no state or federal funding. We need your help to revitalize our current fundraising programs and create new ones, all to support our mission to save dozens of horses and donkeys each year.

Responsibilities:

  • Review existing fundraising programs and provide suggestions for improvements
  • Develop and implement new fundraising campaigns
  • Liaison with the events committee for events such as annual live & silent auction, open houses, etc
  • Establish relationships with local businesses to obtain goods, services or financial donations
  • Recruit and coordinate volunteers to support the above activities

Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing fundraising programs and events
  • Creativity and willingness to innovate and try new things
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Friendly and professional demeanor
  • Experience with Google Drive preferred but willing to teach the right candidate

Mission Statement

NEER North rescues, rehabilitates, and finds approved adoptive homes for equines suffering from abuse, neglect, or at risk for slaughter. NEER North also provides assistance for horses and horse owners in need, along with networking to assist in helping assure horses do not become at risk. NEER North educates the public about responsible horse ownership whenever they can.

Description

NEER North is primarily a volunteer 501c organization dedicated to helping horses and horse owners in need.

NEER North houses up to 15 horses at a time, making sure every horse is evaluated, rehabilitated, and brought up to date on all medical needs before being adopted into appropriate homes.

NEER North relies on donations, fundraising, and public public support to accomplish their goal.

NEER North works primarily in Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire but will help any horse owner in need however thay can, funding allowing.
