Full Job Description

The Content Writer is responsible for researching, writing, creating, developing content for print, digital, and social media platforms to convey the story of Her Choice Advocacy.

This position plays a critical role to ensure consistent, accurate messaging about HCA, and its impact in the community is delivered across all touchpoints and from all HCA stakeholders.

HCA Content Creator

This storyteller position will help set the organizational tone and voice through editorial content, including emails, blog posts, social media posts, newsletter stories, brochures, marketing collateral, and other communication vehicles.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

Writes, reviews, and edits fresh, engaging content across all agency communication channels, including social media, marketing collateral, internal and external emails, digital giving platforms, internal communication vehicles, etc.

Finds and develops compelling, emotional stories that inspire and motivate others to engage with HCA.

Ensures at least five impact stories monthly for social media, website.

Reinforces message consistency across all channels by developing a consistent organizational voice and following brand standards.

Possesses editor capabilities - write, present, modify, copy, and proofread materials.

Description

Her Choice Advocacy’s purpose is to give intellectual, moral and social instruction to society on why all women who conceived through sexual assault and the children conceived should be protected by law, have social inclusion, and be free from re-victimization.

We seek to provide supportive services, resource assistance, advocacy, social inclusion, public awareness, and campaigning for policy provisions. Further, we wish to educate professionals, advocates, legislatures, and leaders on how to articulate proper comprehensive, culturally sensitive based services and support for women who conceived from sexual assault.
