The Assistant Director will be adaptable, self-motivated, and energetic with the ability to elicit those characteristics in others. He/she will be a strong manager with experience overseeing high functioning and dynamic professionals, being comfortable giving direct, constructive, and timely feedback to staff and demonstrating a commitment to quality leadership and team building. The Assistant Director must be a creative problem solver who is committed to and enthusiastic about the organization’s mission, able to make independent decisions and assist with multiple projects simultaneously.
Position Summary: The Assistant Director will report directly to the Executive Director and will work to increase the organization’s overall capacity to serve the community by providing interdepartmental leadership support (Construction, Marketing, Donor Engagement, and Program Services) that maximizes organizational communication, coordination, and effectiveness and results in the timely completion of annual strategic plan goals. The Assistant Director also provides general operational support to the Executive Director in various capacities.Education and Experience Requirements:
Experience must include managing staff and/or projects to the extent of being directly responsible for the accomplishment of the performance metrics of a team, project, department, or organization. References reflecting this level of experience are required.
Comfortable with regular use of computers, software and office equipment: Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, internet, multi-line phone, printer/scanner, email, and web-based calendars, and the ability to learn new programs as needed.
Position will involve regular virtual/remote meetings and events.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written are essential.

We seek to provide supportive services, resource assistance, advocacy, social inclusion, public awareness, and campaigning for policy provisions. Further, we wish to educate professionals, advocates, legislatures, and leaders on how to articulate proper comprehensive, culturally sensitive based services and support for women who conceived from sexual assault.
