Even though we do not provide formal written certificates upon the completion of your job, we are capable of confirming your cooperative relationship with us (your title) and your volunteer hours if asked by a third party.
The following are positions available for now:
2.1 Tutor Working language: English Commitment: preferably 2 hr/week
Tutors’ primary task is to give students one-on-one classes. Each class is conducted on WeChat and lasts for 30 minutes long. During class, tutors will discuss key topics with the student according to our internal materials. After class, they will send brief feedback to the student.

3.1 Editor Working language: Chinese or English Commitment: ~2 hrs/week
Editors will write, polish, and proofread text as requested by our Managers in either Chinese or English. Such text usually includes class materials and text contents about to be published on our WeChat Official Account.

3.2 Translator Working language: Chinese and English Commitment: ~2 hrs/week
Translators will translate our internal documents. These documents usually include volunteer profiles, interviews with college students, and promotion information. You are free to use translation devices or software to achieve greater efficiency as long as translated documents are free of significant errors.

3.3 Layout Editor Working language: Chinese or English; Commitment: ~2 hrs/week
Layout Editors will design layouts of HSE WeChat articles and HSE posters on Instagram and WeChat.

3.4 Video Script Editor Working language: Chinese and English Commitment: negotiable
The video script editor will create a dialogue about a situation/scene that is about 3 minutes long. The dialogue should include commonly used phrases in English and jargon related to that scene.
4.1 WeChat Assistant Working language: Chinese and English Commitment: negotiable
The HSE WeChat Assistant will communicate with both prospective and current volunteers/students. This usually includes:
Coordinating with students/volunteers/staff.
Creating and monitoring tutor-student group chats.
Scheduling interviews with prospective tutors (4.2).
4.2 Interviewer Working language: English Commitment: ~2 hrs/week
Interviewers will interview prospective tutors and make evaluations based on whether they are qualified or not. After the interview, interviewers will file an interview report to be reviewed by at least two managers.

4.3 Administrative Assistant Working language: English Commitment: ~1 hr/day
Administrative Assistants will:
Manage student information by organizing the information collected from Student Sign Up Forms and updating processed information in the HSE Volunteers Group Chat.
Manage volunteers' information by updating their status (onboarding/active/inactive) and their respective students.
Monitor the progress of different programs and coordinate with people responsible, such as translators, editors, HR managers, etc..
4.4 HR Manager Working language: Chinese or English Commitment: depends on the number of cooperating volunteers
As an HR manager, you will actively recruit new HSE volunteers and/or students. Channels of promotion may include but are not limited to HSE school clubs (with permission), social media, email, and word of mouth. We are looking for long-term collaborators who can provide the public updates of our latest news.
Most of our internal communication will take place on WeChat (available on both Apple App Store and Andriod). Your device must be compatible with the app.
