Hospice Promise is looking for Veteran volunteers to provide companionship for Veteran hospice patients. If you have a military background and are interested in connecting with other Veterans please contact Hospice Promise for more information. No experience needed, just a compassionate heart and a desire to recognize our aging heroes!
Hospice Promise is committed to following social distancing guidelines and CDC practices. Masks and personal protective equipment (PPE) are required and will be provided at no cost to you.
Volunteers are required to complete the Hospice Promise Volunteer Training Program to prepare them for their hospice volunteer journey. Online training options are now available!

It is our commitment to provide compassionate end of life care and make a difference in the lives of our patients, their families and our community.
HOSPICE Promise provides end of life medical care to patients with a terminal illness and a life expectancy of six (6) months or less.
Hospice services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, (including Holidays), if needed, and are provided in the comfort of the patient's home, ("home" may be a skilled nursing facility, group home, assisted living complex, private residence, or anywhere that the patient calls home).
A team of professionals, including a Physician, Nurse, Social Worker, Chaplain, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), and a Volunteer, is assigned to each patient, and will provide individualized care based on the needs of the patient and family.
