ORGANIZATION: OneOC

OneOC hosts RSVP volunteers in local Orange County nonprofits to ensure that those most in need of education, food security, food delivery and employment receive the help they need most. RSVP volunteers choose where and how often they want to serve, with commitments ranging from a few hours a month to 40 hours per week.

About RSVP Program Station: Bracken’s Kitchen provides creative, high-quality, nutritious food to those living in the reality of food insecurity and poverty in Southern California.

Location: Garden Grove, CA

Volunteer Opportunity: Donation and Receiving Specialist assist in house distribution with our Agency Partners while facilitating our incoming donations and shipments and help organize and package these items. Most of the packages will come in bulk and we need volunteers who are organized, focused, willing to learn how our donations are processed and our in-house inventory control system application. Forklift experience a plus but not required. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Hours of Volunteer Service: RSVP volunteers may serve 1-40 hours weekly. Tuesday 8AM - 12PM.

*This is a volunteer non-paid opportunity.

Eligibility Requirements: To be eligible to participate as an RSVP Volunteer, the candidate must be age 55 or older and complete a RSVP online registration.
