Please visit the new page to apply.
Stepping On is an evidenced based program to reduce falls in adults age 60+. Falling is common but NOT a normal part of aging. Stepping On is a 7 week program with 2 hour sessions every week to work as a group to learn about common risks as we age and how to reduce the risks to prevent falls.
Trained facilitators are needed to offer this program throughout Lincoln Co. Stepping On is offered 2-3 x a year. The program is always offered with 2 leaders.
Training is provided face to face (physical distancing and cloth face coverings and other ways to reduce the risk is incorporated). Training for the program is 3 full days. More information can be found on the Wisconsin Institute for Healthy Aging website: www.wihealthyaging.org
