Urgent: Volunteers Needed to Serve in Local Shelters!

In response to Hurricane Laura, the American Red Cross is serving over 8,000 individuals who have sought refuge in North Texas. Volunteers are needed to serve in over 30 local, non-congregate shelters (hotels) in the DFW area.

Training is provided for the safety of you and the residents during COVID-19. We are asking for a commitment of 1 shift that is 7 hours in duration. The Red Cross has made it easy for you to serve! The application process has been shortened and training condensed so that we can prepare you for service immediately.
