MedCura Health is a federally qualified health center serving Dekalb County and the metropolitan Atlanta area. We are currently seeking volunteers to assist at our COVID-19 Drive Thru Testing and Vaccination Site Monday - Friday at 8:30am - 3:30pm. Our site is located at The Gallery at South Dekalb Mall, 2801Candler Road, Decatur, GA 30034.
Volunteers are asked to serve at least a 2 hour shift. And may serve more hours if preferred. All volunteers will be provided personal protective equipment and lunch daily. Student volunteers are advised to keep an account of their hours, and to volunteer consistently as scheduled.
There are two volunteer options available (though volunteers will be assigned to the area of greatest need):
Provider Telehealth Assistant - Responsible for facilitating telehealth visits with providers via electronic tablets. Assistant will place tablet at client's vehicle window for virtual visit with a provider.
Registration Assistant - Responsible for assisting with patient registration. Assistant will retreive and return documents at client vehicles to aid in the registration process.
