During these uncertain times, how can we help?

Dare to Care has made changes to our usual volunteer protocol to ensure everyone’s safety while performing all projects. We have limited the number of volunteers in each project to make sure that there’s enough space to appropriately be socially distanced. Our largest projects can accommodate 15 volunteers, but we have opportunities for just 1 volunteer to be engaged. We do require masks at each project, have a sink and hand soap/sanitizer available (please wash hands upon arrival and when leaving), and have gloves available for the projects when necessary.
Throughout our 13 county service area, you’ll find many opportunities to support our mission directly through a Dare to Care program. There are also ways to make an impact closer to home. Please consider volunteering with one of our nearly 300 food pantry or kitchen partners. We rely on them to distribute food to our neighbors in need around Kentuckiana. These sites schedule their own volunteers, so you will need to communicate with them directly. Follow this link to find a site, service hours, and phone numbers for a Dare to Care partner near you.
