Hey!
Do you love working with students? Are you interested in health and wellness? Healthy Excited Youth (HEY) is seeking volunteers of various backgrounds to join our organization as a lesson liaison. As a lesson liaison, you’ll virtually lead lessons related to social, emotional health, nutrition, healthy relationships and more. We are also seeking volunteers to generate pre-recorded health and wellness lessons to be used in the future. Teaching not your thing? We have other volunteer opportunities available - Mentors, Research Assistants, Newsletter Manager and Assistants.
This won't be your typical volunteer service as we'll aim to encourage your growth as well by placing you in areas of interest within the organization. About HEY! - Healthy Excited Youth
HEY! Healthy, Excited Youth is a nonprofit organization in which online tools will be used in conjunction with live seminars where various age groups can discuss the importance and ideals of Health, Nutrition, Stigma Elimination, Mentoring and Service. HEY! aims to provide a comfortable and understanding space in community and after school centers with service from young professionals in the surrounding areas.

Description
Our organization aims to enlighten and guide students as they strive for their future success. At HEY!, we foster a comfortable space for students to share ideas, ask questions, and express fears. Our curriculum is individually tailored to the students of the schools we partner with. This includes tailoring curricula to the needs of special populations. By working with staff to coordinate educational plans, we ensure the cohesive dissemination of information for the students. This, in turn, allows the students to seamlessly gain a deeper insight to their health and wellness, while exploring possibilities for their own growth.
