Purpose
This position is to perform Financial and Statistical Information readiness and capacity building activities needed to enable effective service delivery (in a disaster response).
Key Responsibilities
Financial and Statistical Information is responsible for controlling Client Assistance Cards and consolidation and data entry of financial and statistical information. This position is responsible for the tasks involved in the Financial and Statistical Information program including: 1. Ordering financial instruments from Shared Services or the Red Cross Client Assistance Card provider. 2. Upon receipt, financial instruments are secured in a locked area. 3. All instruments are accounted for on inventory control logs. 4. Transferring Client Assistance Cards a within the region as needed and ensuring a Client Assistance Card Charge-Out Record (Form 1032) is completed for Client Assistance Cards when transferring them within the region. 5. Accounting for the transfer of any Client Assistance Cards from one Red Cross employee or volunteer to another on a Form 1032. 6. Retrieving and accounting for financial instruments issued to volunteers and employees before they terminate affiliation with the Red Cross or transition to other duties where possession of instruments is not required. 7. Immediately deactivating/voiding any instruments that cannot be retrieved or accounted for. 8. Consolidation and data entry of financial and statistical information into standard Disaster Operation Control reports

Qualifications
Ability to: * follow and implement requests received from supervisor with little or no supervision. * adapt to change, negotiate compromise and tolerate ambiguity. * build effective relationships with others who can help with work related goals. * be sensitive in human interactions to diversity inclusiveness. * work toward service associate position in at least one Mass Care activity
Training
A volunteer may begin serving in the role prior to completion of required training. It is expected that the training will be completed within 12 months or as soon as training is available.
