OVERVIEW
Passionate about making a difference for kids in elementary schools? Enthusiastic about the idea that you can help nurture future innovators? Interested in helping bring 21st century skillsets to elementary students in an online setting ?
Petri-dish Science is looking for volunteers to assist in designing/ maintaining a brand new website for our online STEAM program.- Knowledge of UX / UI is required.
- HTML/CSS Coding is not a required skill though it would be nice to have.
- An eye for graphic design is nice to have

How do we accomplish that ? : Our science lessons are enquiry based and carefully crafted for younger kids by integrating them with hands-on projects , Engineering Design process , the arts and design thinking concepts . In short : We aim at developing a lifelong love for science , creativity and innovation in all of our students.

At Petri-dish Science we have fun , high quality year round after-school S.T.E.A.M programs for kids from Kindergarten through 3rd Grade.Our lessons focus on teaching Science , Engineering and Design thinking concepts .
Our Philosophy
Research has proven that children when engaged with science early on can develop a lifelong passion for it .
We believe that there are no right or wrong answers. Every science and engineering problem has many possible solutions and multiple ways to reach them.
We tightly integrate enquiry based hands-on projects, design thinking concepts , stories , games and the Arts within our science curriculum. This builds in our kids creative confidence and the ability to innovate fearlessly.
