RLC is expanding our branch in Seattle, and we are recruiting volunteers who are interested in becoming a member of the Seattle Branch's core leadership team. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, recruiting potential food donor partners and volunteers, marketing on social media sites, and fundraising. Time commitment is between 5-10 hours a week. We would love to have you join us in reducing food waste and food insecurity in Seattle!

The mission of RLC is to redistribute excess food to feed people experiencing food insecurity.
Description
Rescuing Leftover Cuisine (RLC) is a nonprofit organization committed to fighting food insecurity and preventing wasted food. We have cultivated a network of dedicated food rescuers who bring food directly from our food donors to nonprofit recipients, letting neighbors help neighbors while reaping the environmental and economic benefits of reducing wasted food. Founded in 2013, our simple, but elegant model has saved over 8 million pounds of food since our inception.
