Great for college students and retired professionals in science communications, English, education, or environmental science.
We are looking for people who want to write articles for our blog, edit/create videos, and create social media posts.
Writing
The blog provides education and outreach on four topics: Alternative Energy (off-grid), Eco-Psychology and Education, Organic Gardening, and Wildlife Conservation. We target plants and animals native to North America.
Blogs are 1200-2000 words and address a specific topic. We are also interested in writing and developing lesson plans. We give the author credit, a bio, and promote the articles on our social media channels. Great for freelance writers.
Blogs do follow a specific writing outline/style in which we provide training for via video. We will assist you in choosing a topic and provide writing guidelines.
Video
We also use video to enhance our blogs and provide useful content. We are always looking for people who can create or edit videos.
Social Media
Are you interested in graphic design? Educational posts for Facebook and Twitter are always great to add to those platforms.

Mission Statement
Our mission is to help people lead environmentally friendly lives. We do this by providing educational programs and outreach that encourage the advancement of alternative energy, environmental education, organic agriculture, and wildlife conservation. Our director is a licensed wildlife rehabilitator and promotes the importance of wildlife in the ecosystem.
Description
We teach onsite and online classes to promote environmental education and how to live an environmentally friendly life. Our blog and social media reaches many people each month to inform, educate, and entertain. In addition, we rescue and rehabilitate 75 baby wild animals each year that have been injured or orphaned.

- Fluent in English, free of spelling and grammar mistakes, and follow our guidelines. Students under 18 years old must provide parent permission to have name published on our website. We will sign off on volunteer hours for high sch or college profs.
