FRIEND (21+) WANTED for an Adult Man with Disabilities who loves music and following politics!
Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Boston
Seeking a Friend for Angelo, a man in his 50s who has lived in the Greater Boston area for the past 10 years! Angelo has some difficulty with balance and uses a cane to walk. He also struggles with anxiety and depression but works with a supportive outpatient team. Angelo is very independent, but currently lives alone, and would love a Friend with whom he could spend 1:1 time. He is funny, has a strong desire to be social, and has a variety of interests including collecting and selling toys, watching scary movies, listening to music, and watching videos about politics! Angelo is hoping for a Friend who has similar hobbies as well as a car or access to public transportation to the Medford area.
Matches meet once or twice a month for a year. Our amazing Clinical Match Specialists are ready to support the volunteer with Angelo’s disabilities and help figure out transportation given social distancing guidelines.
JEWISH AND NON-JEWISH VOLUNTEERS WELCOME!
