ORGANIZATION: Big Brothers Big Sisters-Pikes Peak

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado - Pikes Peak

Colorado Springs CO

We inspire, ignite, and empower potential.

Mentor 2.0
matches high school students from Atlas Preparatory School with college-educated mentors in the Colorado Springs community, providing the students with support and guidance through their high school career to prepare them for the future.

The majority of the mentorship is conducted over a secure online platform (iMentor), as a "pen pal mentorship" - exchanging messages discussing curricular assignments and life in general. This allows for busy professionals to flex their time-investment around their schedules. In addition, there are monthly events for in-person mentoring hosted at Atlas Preparatory School and facilitated by Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Volunteers must be 21 years of age and have some form of post-secondary education, training or certification. Volunteers must also be able to pass a background check.
