Description

Hospice is a concept of caring, rather than a specific location. Hospice is where those with a life-threatening illness can spend their final days in peace, dignity, and comfort, surrounded by loved ones. In hospice care, the emphasis is on palliative care and quality of life. Every effort is made to made to make the patients as comfortable as possible and fulfill y=the distinct wishes of the patient and their family. There is practical, emotional and spiritual support available for all involved. Altus Hospice is absolutely dedicated to those we serve. We view our work as a sacred honor and go to great lengths to provide quality care. Our patient-focused approach hinges on creating a plan of care that is tailored to the unique needs and desires of the individual and their family.
