Do you want to help our community and visitors learn about beach safety?
Do you enjoy going to the beach?
Want to get some steps in while you save lives?!
Well we have the opportunity for you!
As a Je'Sani Smith Foundation Beach Volunteer, you will be assigned to a location at a Nueces or Aransas County beach and be provided with beach safety information to hand out to beach goers. Training will be provided!
You will need to be comfortable approaching people at the beach and help them understand what the flags mean at the beach, where their nearest lifeguard is and lifesaving information about rip currents. Our handy bracelets and flyers are great giveaways to remind them of your message.

Description
Our primary goal is to eliminate rip current related deaths at our beaches. We do this through community outreach, awareness and education activities. We always need volunteers to help us spread the word of water safety. Whether you are social distancing or not, we have a volunteer position for you!
