Being a Farm Share Monitor plays an important role in assisting our PIF Farm Shareholders when picking up their weekly shares of locally-grown vegetables:
- Assist customers with how to pick up their Farm Shares
- Supervise site activity
- Help us maintain pick-up sites
Help needed Wednesday's from 3:30PM-6:30PM. We can offer a complimentary, bi-weekly Farm Share, in thanks. 12-week commitment.

Plant It Forward empowers refugees to develop sustainable urban farming businesses that produce fresh, healthy food for our community.
Description
We envision thriving farmers, enriching Houston's vibrant landscape. Since 2012, we have enabled refugees with agricultural backgrounds to put their skills to use by creating urban farming businesses. Plant It Forward provides training, access to land, and access to fair markets. Our hardworking farmers do the rest.
To date, we have trained over 40 aspiring farmers and have supported 18 farm startups. We currently work with a network of 14 farmers operating 8 farms on 4 sites throughout urban Houston.
