Our Volunteer Garden Manager position (for next season) is available now for shadowing. Come join a great group of MOM volunteers! This is an exciting volunteer position in our food pantry operations. Our pantry garden program provides fresh and nutritious food to MOM clients while teaching gardening skills. The Volunteer Garden Manager works with our garden volunteers and MOM client gardeners in planting, maintaining and harvesting. This could be one or two volunteers dividing up the duties.

MOM already has a great crew of gardening volunteers, and established garden procedures in place. Please join us this season and observe the garden! Then next season, consider taking on a greater role in this rewarding program!

Timeline is extensively from May through harvest annually, with some duties in the off-season. Our pantry garden operations consist of three areas: the MOM client/teaching garden; and two production gardens. This position reports to staff.
