  • We are in search of a volunteer that can lead an online book club once a week for one hour.
  • Volunteers are free to choose a best selling self development book.
  • Volunteers have to send reminders to their book club participants once a week and inform them of upcoming tasks.
  • Volunteers will read 50 pages of the book before each class, as well as, encourage their students to read & participate in discussions.
  • Volunteers will have administrative support by our team.
  • Certificates of completion will be issued for volunteers.

  • Remind everyone of the "rules" and guidelines for the club - this will help give everyone a turn to speak or set a certain time limit for each member to speak on a topic.
  • Be aware of each members’ different styles and ways of expressing themselves.
  • Try to do some research so that you have some questions and discussion points prepared - this helps to prevent the discussion dragging or awkward, long silences.
  • Make an effort to set discussion topics - for example, having some questions prepared to stimulate conversation or choosing some passages from the book to start the discussion with.
