Epidemiologist Volunteer Position in Haiti-Now

Job overview

We are in need of Epidemiologists with experience in researching/working in the developing world are preferable, to assist the data team to draft a COVID 19 related survey for children in domestic servitude, their host families, and their biological parents.

Requirements:

Develop an understanding of the socioeconomic context in Haiti, current national efforts, and international interventions.

Develop a strategy to design and collect data that could help COVID-19 related interventions for prevention and vaccine deployment.

Verbally communicating with the data team to convey information effectively.

The use of computer applications including google sheets, databases, Trello, Slack, and google docs.

Minimum volunteer hours expected: 7 hrs per week.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Epidemiology, Biostatistics or related field
or related proven experience.

At least one year of proven experience as an epidemiologist in researching/working in a developing world country, public or private setting.

After Onboarding, Your first assignment will be to start a fundraising campaign. Haiti Now will provide further guidance for you to have a quick and successful fundraiser.
