Flatirons Habitat for Humanity

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with us! Wonderland Creek is a current project with Flatirons Habitat for Humanity. It consists of four single-family homes, one of which is ADA compliant. The project began in November 2015 and is expected to be completed by September 2016. These homes will provide four families with safe, decent, affordable housing.

Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry that seeks to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from the world, and to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action. Habitat invites people of all backgrounds, races and religions to build houses together in partnership with families in need. Habitat has built more than 145,000 houses around the world, providing more than 625,000 people in more than 3,000 communities with safe, decent, affordable shelter. Habitat was founded in 1976 by Millard Fuller along with his wife Linda.

Flatirons Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit Christian-based organization serving Boulder and Broomfield counties working toward a world where everyone has a decent place to live. No matter who we are or where we come from, we all deserve to have a decent life. We deserve to feel strength and stability day after day. We deserve to know we have the power to take care of ourselves and build our own futures. At Habitat for Humanity, this is what unites us. Through shelter, we empower. Volunteers play a crucial role in assisting Flatirons Habitat in fulfilling our mission and we thank you for your interest in contributing to the work we do.
