Individuals passionate about social media and a desire to create change will make an excellent contribution to the organization.

Volunteers should have the following:

• Experience with Twitter.
• Good written communication skills, including excellent grammar, editing, and proofing skills.
• Excellent research skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidential information required.

• A twitter admin is responsible for keeping IVA's twitter account updated with the organization's activities.
• Tweeting and Retweeting relevant information related to our cause.
• Relating and responding to tweet responses according to our guidelines.
• Keep track of the followers and grow the account's audience.

• Bachelor’s degree in English, communication, creative writing, or related field is preferred.
• Prior experience in social media and/or blogging, copywriting.
• Must be able to work independently and meet deadlines with very little supervision.
• Experience writing SEO friendly content is helpful, but not required.

• Enhance your skills while supporting a cause you care about
• Gain samples of work & references to add to your portfolio
• Directly impact a community organization
• Work remotely & create your own schedule
• Get volunteer recognitions, features on our website, and social media.
