ORGANIZATION: Mariposa Heritage House

Through its collaboration with non-profit agencies throughout San Joaquin and Stanislaus counties, Second Harvest Food Bank distributes millions of pounds of food to 300,000+ individuals each year. As a distribution hub for these agencies, our warehouse drivers are always on the move - and they're looking for the help of generous volunteers like you! We are most in need of drivers that can commit to one or more shifts during the following time periods:

  • Tuesdays 8am-12pm
  • Thursdays 8am-12pm
  • Fridays 8am-12pm
Our holiday season is the busiest time for our drivers, but we are grateful for the help year-round! To be a volunteer driver, you must have a Class C license and a clean driving record, since we add you to our insurance and you drive our vehicles. Food preps, cooks and chefs and pantry workers

Drop-in Center Support

Participant Liaison to Staff

Peer Support

Skilled volunteers needed for marketing, social media, accounting, and grant writing.
