If you're looking for a way to bring members of your organization together, while also creating a positive impact in your community and meaningful memories for your group members, look no further than Second Harvest of the Greater Valley! We would love to help you organize the perfect team-bonding opportunity.
Group volunteer opportunities are scheduled on an individual basis and in advance to ensure the best use of time. We require a minimum 2 weeks’ notice in order to plan for these events. Groups will complete projects in our Manteca warehouse. We can accommodate groups of between 8-30 people.
Organizing and running a food drive or fundraiser in your local community is another great way to volunteer your time as a group while helping out those in need! With COVID-19 restrictions in place, we can also work with you to set up virtual versions of either.
To schedule group volunteer days or to set up a food drive/fundraiser, please contact Dalia at daliahernandez@secondharvest.org or 209-239-2091. You can also fill out an interest form on our Flipcause page: https://www.flipcause.com/secure/cause_pdetails/Njc5OTA=.We're excited to work with you!
