Rewarding. Meaningful. Fun. These are some of the words our volunteers use to describe working with the teens at our centers. Can you:
lead a small class
offer a workshop
offer an internship, volunteer or work experience
We are currently looking for volunteers to lead classes for the 2021-2022 school year in math, science, Spanish, writing, environmental science, stained glass, basic car skills, sewing, psychology, and any other topics that are interesting to you that you may want to share with our teens.
We are always looking for volunteers to help. For more information, visit our volunteer page: http://buckslearningcooperative.org/volunteer/
The Learning Cooperatives help young people create a personally meaningful education through supported, self-directed educational opportunities within a network of community-based centers.
The Learning Cooperatives are centers which help teenagers live and learn without school. We have centers in Princeton and Flemington, NJ, and Langhorne, PA. We support teens to create a personalized education based on their interests, abilities and goals. We offer help with planning, classes that run throughout the day, tutoring, help finding volunteer and work opportunities, mentoring, help with college admissions and a safe and comfortable place for teenagers to work and socialize.
