Working one-on-one with a teen

We are currently looking for volunteers to lead classes for the 2024-2025 school year in the following areas:

The Learning Cooperatives help ​young people create a​ ​​personally​ meaningful education through supported, self-directed educational opportunities within a network of community-based centers.​​

Description

The Learning Cooperatives are centers which help teenagers live and learn without school. We have centers in Princeton and Flemington, NJ, and Langhorne, PA. We support teens to create a personalized education based on their interests, abilities and goals. We offer help with planning, classes that run throughout the day, tutoring, help finding volunteer and work opportunities, mentoring, help with college admissions and a safe and comfortable place for teenagers to work and socialize.
