Activity Description:

We are looking for a friendly and professional individual to perform office tasks supporting the Hammond-Munster Corps.

The Office Assistant will assist with the following administrative tasks:

  • Answering a multi-line phone system
  • Making copies
  • Preparing mail
  • Filing
  • Other administrative duties as needed.
Office Assistant volunteers are needed on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Fridays from 1:30pm - 4:00pm. Sign up to help on one or multiple days per week.

Qualifications:

  • 18 years or older
  • Reliable, professional and hard working
  • Pass initial screening process

Policies:

Volunteers need to complete a background check and initial screening process.

Alcohol, drugs and smoking are not permitted at any Salvation Army facilities or volunteer sites.

The Office Assistant is expected to wear business casual attire. Flip flops, shorts, tank tops, undershirts, or halter tops, sleeveless shirts, crop tops, spaghetti straps, and strapless tops are not permitted. Transparent, tight or form fitting clothes are not allowed. Skirt/dresses are not to be more than two inches above the knee.
