Want to help in our first family eventof the summer?
Come and volunteer with us in the bronx for Family Resource Day in the Bronx!
We are looking for 25-30 volunteers to help our staff with our social distance celebration event. Families will learn about local resources from Catholic Charities and our partner organizations, while children get to feast on popcorn and carnival like snacks!
Date: Friday, July 24th, 2020
Location: 537 East 146 th Street, Bronx, NY 10455
Shifts:
- 8am-2pm
- 8am-10am
- 10am-2pm
What you will do:
Set up is between 8am-10am. We need help setting up tents, chairs, signage and more.
Crowd control and social distance check in.
Serving and prepare food snacks alongside CCNY staff.
Break down is between 1pm-2pm
COVID 19 POLICY
- Upon arrival please wear a face mask. All staff members will wear a face covering and we are asking the public to arrive with one as well. TIP- You can bring a second mask to change into.
- Please use all hand sanitizing stations frequently.
- Bonus: Our staff is running low on glove supplies at this location. It would be a tremendous help if every volunteer could bring a box of gloves to support this event!
We also welcome teen volunteers ages 16-18!
