Radiant Hospice is reaching out into the communities we serve in San Diego, seeking volunteers to help us in our mission to care for patients with life-limiting illnesses. We’re looking for you!
We are looking for volunteers to make fidget blankets, lap blankets, memory bears, etc...for our patients. We will provide the material. If you're interested in volunteering and would like to volunteer your time, from home, making blankets, PLEASE JOIN OUR TEAM!!
How do I get started?
We’re so glad you asked! All volunteers must complete the following requirements:
- Fill out the initial application
- Provide information about your interests
- Sign a few consent forms
- Take a TB (Tuberculosis) test (provided free of charge)
It is also a requirement that you wait a minimum of one year after the death of an immediate family member or a loved one before volunteering, though you can attend volunteer training.

Radiant Hospice offers a team approach to hospice care that supports the physical, spiritual, social and emotional needs of our patients and their families. Our team includes:

Our team of medical professionals provides the highest quality comprehensive hospice care focused on serving the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of terminally ill patients and their loved ones. Our philosophy is to walk together with those we serve to provide the highest quality care with respect and compassion.
We are both Medicare certified and fully accredited by ACHC, Accreditation Commission for Health Care. This means Radiant Hospice voluntarily submits to an extensive evaluation of our compliance with ACHC health care standards on a continuing basis. Accreditation is a reassuring seal of quality as you select a hospice for yourself or loved one.
