SUMMER GREETER/GALLERY MONITORS AT THE CHARLES H. WRIGHT MUSEUM OF AFRICAN AMERICAN HISTORY The Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History opened to the public on Friday, July 10th. Museum hours for the summer are as follows:

Wednesday - Saturday, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Sunday, 12 - 5 p.m. Closed Monday

We are currently looking for volunteers to serve as Greeter/Gallery Monitors to welcome guests as they enter the museum, to provide directions and the rules of the gallery, and to help ensure that our guests have the best customer experience possible. An orientation, on-the-job training, and personal protection equipment will be provided.

Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older. Museum volunteers must provide a negative test result for COVID-19 prior to reporting for service.

Volunteer shifts are available as follows:Wednesday - Saturday:

  • 9 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
  • 12-30 p.m. - 4 p.m.
Sunday:
  • 12 p.m. - 5 p.m.
