We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and fun-loving Social Media Intern to join our Operations team!

Responsibilities include: organization outreach and old organization follow-up for special events, creating content for social media posts, craft and edit a series of newsletters for our Remember Me Thursday campaign, generate content for Remember Me Thursday celebrity luminaries, respond to comments and DM’s on social media platforms and much more!

Our ideal candidate has the following qualities:

  • Experience writing e-newsletters and social media posts.
  • General knowledge of social media marketing strategy and research.
  • General knowledge of animal rescue industry.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and tools.
  • Resourceful enough to download or screenshot photos and/or videos.
  • Would prefer to have a self-driven worker who is fine working independently.
  • Works well with others. They are communicative and receptive to feedback.
  • Can be flexible and change to adapt to needs of the program.

Flexible hours - Monday - Friday. 10-15 hours a week between 8:30am - 5pm.

Min. age: 18+
