Coach with Girls on the Run to inspire and empower girls to be joyful, healthy, and confident!
Our fall season will last for 8 weeks. Teams will meet twice per week, at schools, parks, or community centers for 90 minute long sessions and coaches can select their preferred site in the coach application. Prior to the first day of practice, coaches will be trained to deliver the curriculum via online modules and an in-person session with GOTR staff. Teams will consist of 3 coaches (16 and older) and 16-18 girls between the ages of 8-13. The season will culminate with a non-competitive 5K to celebrate the girls' accomplishments! Specific end of season 5K details (such as the decision to be held in-person site or county specific 5K) will be confirmed in September.
