The Longest Day is the day with the most light - the summer solstice. Each year, thousands of participants from across the world come together to fight the darkness of Alzheimer's disease through an activity of their choice. Together, they use their creativity and passion to raise funds and awareness for the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association. This is a DIY event that allows the Alzheimer's Association to increase awareness and funding for the cure.

-Identify opportunities to engage the business community in the mission of the Alzheimer's Association and participate in The Longest Day.
-Have a willingness to learn about and support the Alzheimer's Association and its mission.
-Make the time commitment of 2 to 4 hours a month.
-Responsible for recruiting new local sponsors.
-Secure sponsorship dollars, as well as in-kind products and services to increase revenue and reduce expenses.
