Find a remote volunteer assignment through RSVP in New York City!
Due to the constantly evolving health crisis, the operations of many RSVP partner organizations have been, and may still be, impacted (ie. staff may be remote and organizations may not be taking on new volunteers). However, at least a dozen of our partners have transitioned those of their assignments that they could from in-person to remote and many others are in the process of following suit.
As of this typing, our partners with remote assignments have offerings that entail doing research; creating and/or updating databases; conducting outreach and promoting events via social media and/or more traditional means; writing newsletters or grant proposals; fundraising; or friendly visiting. By the time you reach out, there may be many other options added to the mix, so it never hurts to check with us if what you would like to do is not referenced!
Alternatively: if you would prefer to find an in-person assignment now or once things settle down, please also reach out (for the former, we can inquire about what may be currently available; for the latter, we can make a note to circle back with you down the line)
