We are looking for enthusiastic committed individuals to join our Hops for HEARTH committee. Hops is one of our signature fundraising events where people get together to taste great local beers and food and raise money for our cause - empowering and supporting homeless families, who are survivors of domestic violence.
Committee Member Responsibilities include ...
* Attend regular meetings
* Fulfill areas of accepted responsibility- agreed with committee chair
* Solicit sponsors
* Solicit restaurants and beverage purveyors
* Helping secure silent auction items
* Selling tickets to the event
* Recruit volunteers for event
* Recruit Committee Members

To provide a range of supportive services and housing that empowers homeless families, who are survivors of domestic violence or other trauma to become independent, self-sufficient, and adequately housed; to foster low income housing opportunities to prevent homelessness and encourage safe, affordable housing.
Description
HEARTH provides transitional housing and support programs to survivors of domestic violence and trauma. At HEARTH participants are given the time and support to rebuild their lives and move forward in a positive direction through access to therapy, education and employment.
