Arkansas Blood Institute/Oklahoma Blood Institute

The Arkansas Blood Institute is looking for energetic, service-minded people to join our community blood drive volunteer team!

Team members are needed to help with blood drives for communities in and around the Little Rock area. Team members will help set up, manage and break down the reception and canteen areas. Team members will also greet and sign-in donors, check donor temperatures, answer general blood donation questions and manage donor flow throughout the blood drive.

The ideal volunteer will be outgoing and service oriented with a big smile and warm demeanor. This is a wonderful opportunity for church or retiree groups as well as students seeking volunteer hours for school and scholarships.

Schedules are flexible with multiple opportunities each week (including Saturday)

We need your help, especially during this time of crisis in our communities. The need for blood is constant and so is our need for special volunteers like you!

Arkansas Blood Institute’s Volunteer Services Department is dedicated to enhancing ABI’s commitment to the communities we serve by finding people who share our compassion for life. The ultimate goal of Volunteer Services is to cultivate the relationships that will provide volunteer support for the life saving work of Arkansas Blood Institute. Why do volunteers contribute their time to ABI? To help save lives To give back to the community To be an important part of a team For personal growth For education and philanthropy We have volunteer opportunities in a wide range of locations due to our mobile units drawing blood in the Fort Smith sourrounding areas as well as the Hot Springd sourrounding areas. We also have volunteer opportunities in both centers in Fort Smith and Hot Springs, AR.
