Cascade Community Foundation is undertaking a massive, community-wide survey, and we need your assistance to get the word out.
Why?
Because, for the past 20 years, the foundation has gathered input from our neighbors to better understand where needs exist - in Ada, Cascade and throughout Forest Hills. So, we ask. We ask everyone. We ask because our annual grant making allows us to divert precious dollars toward solutions; and our obligation is to ensure those dollars are used in the best interest of those we serve.
Please join us this summer as we canvas neighborhoods. Don't worry. Our efforts mandate proper social distancing. The task is simple. Hang our simple to follow door flyer on as many doors as we can reach. Each door flyer contains a QR code and URL directing them to complete a short survey.
No in-person questions. No contact. Just some exercise and the benefit of knowing you're making a difference in how Cascade Community Foundation serves.s

Mission Statement
Cascade Community Foundation serves as a philanthropic resource to Ada, Cascade and Forest Hills communities in the Greater Grand Rapids Area of West Michigan, and has directed over $3,000,000 in donations to area nonprofits through direct grant making and place making since 2001.
Description
Since 2001, Cascade Community Foundation has served as a bridge between donors and existing needs within the greater Forest Hills area. Through the generosity of area philanthropists, local businesses and residents, CCF is able to award hundreds of grants to nonprofits that serve our community in a special way.
Due to the nature of community foundation's, our focus is on providing solutions for oncoming issues and needs, rather than any one concentration.
Currently, the foundation strives to be a greater resource for residents and businesses by directing financial resources to nonprofits and programs that solve systemic issues in our service area, and by serving small businesses seeking to be more strategic in their charitable giving. Examples of our recent grant making include support of behavioral ailments such as addiction, domestic violence and bullying, as well as health conditions such as mental illness, immune disorders and chronic malady.
In addition, CCF serves as a fiduciary partner for public projects such as the Airport Viewing Park (a nationally renown lookout point for its close proximity to runaways, and its supreme modern design), as well as future place making campaigns that offer immunities, activities and beautification for public use.
Finally, CCF offers volunteer opportunities to residents of all ages, and area businesses and employees.
