Stronger Together: Honoring the past and supporting the future
On Point for College
Please join On Point at one of our Day of Remembrance and
Commitment of Volunteer Service Kickoff events.
These events will bring us together in remembrance of 9/11 to honor those who died, and those who rose up in service in response. After 9/11, Americans came together in the face of adversity to support each other and to serve the people in greatest need. The current moment is also an opportunity join with other people to create the just and equitable community we desire. We can support the young adults in our community who face challenges as they seek to further their education. Through your support and commitment of volunteer service to On Point for College, we can unite to honor the past by supporting our community's future.
On Point was awarded a National Day of Service Grant which is designed to recognize and honor volunteer service. We are actively recruiting volunteers to take part in our Day of Remembrance and Commitment of Volunteer Service Kickoff events that will occur during the two week s leading up to the 19th anniversary of 9/11. About On Point for College
488 W. Onondaga St., Syracuse, NY 13202, US
We break down barriers that prevent young, underserved individuals from achieving education and career success.
On Point for College is a not-for-profit education and career attainment support program established in 1999. We aid individuals in overcoming the barriers to post-secondary education by helping them access and succeed in college and training and certificate programs.
We also help them leverage their skills and educations into meaningful employment opportunities. Since 1999, volunteers have played a critical role in making it possible for On Point to help more than 10,000 individuals pursue their dreams of higher education.
