This summer we have a small off-season project of giving away 1,000 bikes to essential workers in our community and to kids who don’t have any wheels for the summer. We would love to have volunteers join us at the Brooklyn Center warehouse to get the wheels rolling!
Summer session begins on July 9th and will run for about 5 weeks. Registration is mandatory for all volunteers and is now open!

Free Bikes 4 Kidz MN is a non-profit organization geared toward helping kids ride into a happier, healthier childhood by giving bikes to those most in need. The public donates gently used bikes, we organize thousands of volunteers to clean and refurbish them, and then we give them away to kids in need.
Description
Free Bikes 4 Kidz MN is a passionate group of cyclists who love giving as much as riding. It’s our goal to help every child feel the joys and freedom of riding his or her first bike. Through our bike philanthropy method, we aim to help our communities grow stronger and closer through the power of cycling.
FB4K MN was founded in 2008, starting with a dream and a garage. Since then, we’ve become the largest bike giveaway program in the United States. We invite communities to donate quality used bikes that we then clean and refurbish with the help of thousands of dedicated volunteers. We work with multiple kid-friendly organizations to distribute to children and adults in need.
Free Bikes 4 Kidz MN intends to give away 15,000 bikes to kids in need this year.
