ReStore

Our ReStore is a nonprofit home improvement store and donation center that sells snew and gently used furniture, appliances, home accessories, building materials and more to the public at a fraction of the retail price. Proceeds from ReStore sales support Habitat’s mission of building homes, communities and hope for hard working families in Broward County. By giving your time, you help the Restore do more to support our building projects and you are also helping our environment by keeping materials out of landfill. Some of the items, that are so generously donated to us by members of the community, just need a little fixing before they hit the sales floor. The better they look the better! You can help us make the most of our donations! We are looking for skilled volunteers to help us with minor furniture repairs and/or refinishing, light fixture and appliances testing.

This opportunity is available Monday - Saturday, from 9:00am to 6:00pm, shifts are very flexible and we schedule based on your availability. Please keep in mind that all Restore Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age, and 16-17 year old volunteers are required to have a chaperone with them at all times.

If you are interested in this opportunity and would like to give us a hand, please contact Pilar Esteban, our Volunteer Engagement Coordinator at pilar@habitatbroward.org , so she can guide you through the sign up process and schedule your orientation. We are looking forward to meeting you!
