The Calvert Mentor Program is committed to recruiting caring adults from the community to engage in one-to-one mentoring with the youth of Calvert County. Mentors matches school aged children ages 8-18 with a mentor. The program runs concurrently with the school year from September to June, however our mentors are asked to make a 12 month commitment to the mentor-mentee relationship.

Our mission is to recruit caring and committed adults who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of Calvert County's youth.
Description
The Calvert Mentor program is committed to recruiting caring adults from the community to engage in one-to-one mentoring with the youth of Calvert County. Calvert Mentors matches school aged children ages 8-18 with a mentor. The program cycle runs concurrent with the school year from September to June, however our mentors are asked to make a 12 month commitment to the mentor-mentee relationship. It is our priority to ensure the safety of our children therefore, all mentors recruited through this initiative receive a complete background check and are thoroughly screened and trained on mentoring best practices.
