Course Workbook Cover

Be a Christian mentor to someone you would like to help

Encourage and partner with your friend in steps that will transform his or her life.

Receive help doing this at the website Actions to Change Your Life.
It has 30 Actions that strengthen Biblical Values and Career Skills.
These magnify the same four abilities that we know, "... Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man." Luke 2:52

Assist and encourage your friend to take these Actions.
Provide support, counsel and correction on a regular basis.
Arrange your one-on-one assistance, which can be virtual.

A 158-page Know-How to Change-Your-Life Workbook can also be helpful. It has suggested questions to ask.

Learn more about all of this at worknlearn/mentor.
https://www.worknlearn.us/mentor/ .

Mentoring can be some of the most challenging AND the most rewarding work of the Church.
We should not be afraid to mentor if God is involved.
It starts with God, not with us. God’s adequacy fills our inadequacy.

Mentors are one of the keys for success of many Participants. It’s a team effort. Your main assignment is to be a good listener.

These are the Biblical Values:

  1. Being a Christian
  2. Who Am I?
  3. Who Is God?
  4. God and Relationships
  5. God and Work
  6. Authority
  7. Attitude
  8. Integrity
  9. Communication
  10. Resolving Conflict
  11. Stewardship
  12. Excellence in All

We encourage enrolling "the least of these."
Individual Participants, Mentors and Career Coaches may also enroll.
We will match them in a small group.

Classes meet once a week online on Zoom for about 90 minutes.
