We are looking for volunteers at the Pontiac Distribution Center to pack emergency food boxes. We are in need of 10-11 volunteers, this is the best number of volunteers to get the project done and to keep everyone socially distant. The shift are going to be Monday-Friday, 8:30am-11:30am and 1pm-4pm. We are looking for volunteers 18 and up. Volunteers will need to wear masks during the volunteer shift.

For more than 40 years, Gleaners Community Food Bank has been "feeding hungry people and nourishing our communities." Last year, Gleaners distributed 42 million pounds of emergency food to 499 partner soup kitchens, shelters and pantries in Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Livingston, and Monroe counties.
Of every dollar donated, Gleaners uses 97 cents for food and food programs. One dollar provides three meals for a hungry neighbor.
