How you can contribute: We need people with a variety of skills and backgrounds. Regardless of experience level, please get in touch to see if you can help. Our primary requirement is enthusiasm for supporting our small business community.
For this specific position, we need someone who is interested in creatively telling stories about the contributions of SCORE members, workshop/webinar presenters, and beneficiaries. SCORE markets its services in a variety of ways using both social media and traditional media.
Key responsibilities are the followings:
Find creative ways to promote SCORE and its core activities.
Monitor and create content for SCORE's own channels including social media, our website and email newsletter.
On occasion, prepare press releases, announcements and other ad hoc marketing materials.
Identify areas to improve communications and engagement with partner organizations and individuals outside of SCORE.
Create content such as interviews, reviews, photographs and videos so they can be stored, categorized, referenced and retrieved for future use.

SCORE, America's premier source of free and confidential small business advice for entrepreneurs and small businesses, is a nonprofit resource partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). We have over 300 SCORE offices across the country and 10,000 volunteers offering free business mentoring and low- or no-cost workshops.
For over 50 years, SCORE's thousands of working and retired business professionals have volunteered to support the success of small business nationwide. SCORE business mentoring is free and confidential.
We provide:

- Volunteer mentors who share their expertise across industries
