ORGANIZATION: Bay Area Green Tours

Virtual Tour Project Manager

Bay Area Green Tours creates interactive tours and experiences highlighting the sustainable economy in action to inspire and educate youth and adults to build a more enduring, resilient, and just future.

We're a grassroots operation reinventing ourselves by moving from in-person tours to virtual green tours. We are a 20-person volunteer-only organization for now, but we are building for the future by applying to grants and beginning outreach to corporations who want to sponsor our programs and/or buy virtual team building tours. We just redesigned our website and streamlined our operations in Salesforce with a committed, fun, and sharp team of interns and volunteers.

We are looking for several virtual tour project managers to be in charge of organizing virtual tours for the Bay Area Green Tours team. This position requires a self-motivated individual who has a passion for sustainability and event organizing. Duties can be performed by telecommuting, but must be based in the U.S. because we often do work in real time.

We need help with:

  • Event Scheduling

  • Communications

  • Project Management

  • Research

Your tasks:

  • Assist with tour crafting process, organization, and production

  • Maintain detailed and organized record of communications

  • Provide professional communications with tours stops, and gather information about their preferences
  • Coordinate tour logistics with tour stops, videographers, and production assistants

Your profile:

  • Fluent in English (other languages are an added benefit but not necessary)

  • Organized, ambitious, adaptive, and reliable

  • Experience in project management, event planning, or video production a plus!

  • Passionate about environmental issues and solutions for the future
  • Experience with the Google Suite of tools and Slack

To be considered for this opportunity, please send your resume and brief cover letter to hr@bayareagreentours.org.

Thank you!
