Retail Responsibilities

• Work in conjunction with the Retail Manager , Assistant Store Manager and /or NLC Community Development team to develop and implement marketing strategies to increase Hope’s Closet profile in the community and raise revenue.
• Meet or exceed established sales goals set by the Retail Manager.
• Maintain store appearance to positively reflect the mission and values of NLC.
• Marketing Duties
• Design and produce key mailers, catalogs, and postcards for the Company
• Produces brochures, signage, packa ging, website graphics, emails
• P roduct & L ifestyle photography, Service & Commercial photography
• Monitor social channels for trending news, ideas and memes to capitalize on those trends through social media accounts
• Assist coordinating social media accounts, including organizing cross-platform content strategies
• Accountable for the accuracy and timeliness of work produced.
• Work in conjunction with the NLC Community Development Director to maintain similar graphics

General Duties

• Assist customers with purchases and answer questions about merchandise or store procedures in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
• Answer phone in a polite and business-like manner.
• Maintain accurate records as needed.
• Exercise a high level of work integrity, honesty, and various other virtues that reflect the core values of NLC and Hope’s Closet.
• Meet regularly with the Retail Manager and/or Assistant Store Manager
• Helps build cooperative relationships with all staff, donors and volunteers.
• Supports and adheres to all policies regarding resident and program confidentiality.
• Keeps current on issues of Domestic Violence and seeks appropriate training opportunities for self.
