The Animal Pad

As a 100% donation based and volunteer run organization, fundraising is truly essential to The Animal Pad’s success! As a rescue that saves dogs primarily from the streets of Mexico, our vet bills are higher than most and that is what the majority of our funds go towards. We rescue an increasingly high volume of dogs each year, and rely solely on the support of the public, as we don't qualify for most grants due to rescuing outside of the States.

We are looking for 2-3 volunteers to join our team as Fundraising Coordinators and provide general support and assistance to our amazing Fundraising Director. Our ideal volunteers for this role will have a keen attention to detail, strong organizational skills, clear communication, and perhaps most importantly - creative and out of the box fundraising ideas! We pride ourselves on being a fun and very community-centric rescue, so any unique or engaging fundraising ideas are always appreciated!

*While previous fundraising experience is preferred, it is not required.*

About The Animal Pad

Mission Statement

The Animal Pad is a non profit, all breed dog rescue based in San Diego, California. We are 100% Volunteer Run, donation based and we rescue dogs primarily from the streets of Mexico.

Here at TAP, we give voice to the voiceless and our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and find them the best homes possible.

The Animal Pad was founded in 2010 and we are 100% Volunteer Run and Donation Based. We rescue dogs primarily off the streets of Mexico. In addition to rescuing, we have an activism arm called TAPACT where we bring the Community together to tackle issues that affect dogs in hopes to evoke permanent change. Here at TAP, we give voice to the voiceless and our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and find them the best homes possible.
