Do you want to help visitors to our region with information, directions, suggestions, and even reservations if needed? Become a Volunteer Ambassador for Travelers Aid Society, an organization that has been doing this work for over 100 years. We have a vintage booth at the historic Santa Fe Train Station in Downtown San Diego. Training provided, and flexible part-time shifts. Currently, PPE is being provided for a safe volunteer opportunity.

Description
Travelers Aid provides information & referral services to visitors, seniors, and to homeless individuals. Free transportation options are provided to low-income seniors. Case Management, transportation assistance, and family reunification services are provided to domestic violence victims, homeless individuals families, and to runaways. The organization recruits volunteers for the San Diego County Long Term Care Ombudsman Program, for Tourism Ambassadors, and Volunteer Drivers for low-income seniors.
